Forensic Engineering - CSI: Crime Scene Investigation - Fire criminal investigation.


ABSTRACT


The following work shows in simplified form and basic form some of the aspects of the forensic expertise in fire engineering in Brazil and North America. Factors that influence directly in the decision making that go from the prevention and combat, as well as of the causes that have taken to happen the accidents in the buildings. With regard to criminalistics, we bring some of the activities, as well as the steps and norms used by the governmental institutions in order to develop the work of inspection, prevention and firefighting. New studies are also addressed in this work, with the intention of bringing new and old improved practices to be used in firefighting actions, since we will address aspects about construction materials and the role of designers, engineers and architects in these specifications of new non-combustible building materials.
